Is that really Jeter or just some old foggie wearing his shirt? And pay no attention to the tree in short center field. It's actually a drink holder and provides shade for right field and keeps the pook and hope hitter honest! And special thanks to Sarah for this great site, my mother is so smiling!
All Ball players/ watchers: Team Captain Rita and I meet for a power breakfast this morning- (where is opposing team Captain-Jim Gleason?) To discuss the upcoming "Cousins Challenge" and to have some apple pie (just me, pie is ok anytime!) Game date: 20 Sept, 08. Official start of activities will be 1345- 1:45for all you civilians! You can arrive at the field anytime after noon for BP(batting practice) or lounging-that's an official baseball activity. Bring a dish, the ball fiels sponsors ( to be announced) will be providing hot dogs, hambergers and soft drinks. And surprizes! Watch for info from the team Captains and game sponsors....what do you think we do this for nothing! we need the stinkin sponsors!
